The cashier should be responsible for driving sales in the company and overseeing the shop team ensuring the team is properly aligned with business strategies and objectives. The individual should be a good negotiator and aggressive in acquiring new business.
Receive customers and assist them with the selection of items
Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention
Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily
Help customers in billing and payment processes at the stores counter
Communicate and advise clients on information about product availability.
Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking items on the shelves
Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems
Help with preparation for displays, trade shows and windows
Lead the shop team in meeting targets
Ensuring customers get the value for their money by ensuring delivering of quality products and customer satisfaction.
Any other duty assigned.
