What you can expect
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the contribution for the achievement of Business Unit sales targets by taking ownership and responsibility for the full customer order management process. Duties will include the following:
Enter orders in SAP, follow up on deliveries and invoice delivery to the customer
Handle enquiries, compilation of pro-forma invoices, check product availability- with correct specifications, keeping the customers updated regularly and timely by interfacing with the Production and Sales team
Place Purchase Orders to various global sources and make sure goods are delivered with right documentation and country requirements
Liaise with suppliers and colleagues with requirement changes to destination Countries and make sure these are adhered to
Process export documents and facilitate trade within the East Africa region
Coordinate customer enquiries directing these to the appropriate department and / or responsible person and ensure feedback is given to customer within required or agreed timeframe
Contribute to resolving account related queries in alignment and conjunction with the sales team and regional Credit Management team
Process and record customer complaints, product returns and process applicable credit notes through the NCM or other applicable system
Create and ensure all required master data, e.g., customer master data is updated and maintained per Business Unit processes
Handle all customer sample requests, from receipt to delivery within the agreed timeframes
Support to EB sales team with handling defined customer requests, e.g., stock availability, pro-forma invoices, data sheets, and Material Safety Data Sheets
Maintain an up-to-date document filing system, and archive documents in SAP for traceability
What we expect
At least +-1 year work experience in Customer service, Sales or Logistics
SAP experience (preferable)
Microsoft Office computer skills
Fluent English (written and oral)
