Medbook Kenya Limited is a technology-based company that offers safe access to health records management to both patients and doctors. The service also enables patients to have easier access to top notch doctors across all regions in the country as well as reliable health information.
Reporting to the General Manager- Business Development, the Sales and Marketing executive is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally.
Managing Medbook marketing activities
Revenue generation for Medbook directly including but not limited to:
Selling the system to private and public hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and insurance schemes and companies
Duties and responsibilities: –
Develops and implements sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal team.
Qualifications and experience
Diploma/ Degree in sales and marketing.
At least 1 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal, planning, negotiation, time management, networking and marketing skills.
Results oriented, meets targets and works well under pressure
Healthcare/ Insurance background preferred
