Duties and Responsibilities
Undertake all postal duties pertaining to counter, delivery and dispatch of mails .
Issue and pay money orders, postal orders and agency services.
Sale stamp, acceptance and delivery of registered item.-
Collect registered bag for openers and clearance cages and enter details non balance sheet.
Maintain and balance P150,P127 and P1 books
Responsible for opening new files , filling work and maintenance of all official files in records office
Deal with amendments to list of post offices and rule books as they are issued from time to time
Maintain an up to date record of the inventory in all offices within HPO area
Prepare returns for incoming services and air mails parcels and submit to the user departments
Perform Postmaster duties an class 3 office
Collection and delivery of EMS items
Handle registration items at registration cages
Weight and compute mailing cost of letters, parcels based on type, weight and destination
Perform other duties assigned by controlling officer.
Requirements for Appointment
O-Level Certificate D+ (Plus);
Certificate in Business Administration /Management;
Postal New Entrance Course will be an added advantage
Proficiency in computer applications;
